The ethos of this residency programme is to provide opportunities for artists to spend time surrounded by nature, to share ideas and practice, to enrich the creative community of this rural area by giving a slide talk

Painting and print studio

 

Hafod studio:

Size: 24 sqm floor area (4.2m x 5.7m) with a pitched roof height of 3.6m.

Lighting: large skylights provide excellent natural light, and electric lighting.

Heating: wood burning stove and electric heater.

Facilities: sink, trestle tables and chairs, easel and boards, intaglio printing press (plate size 35 x 60cm).

Accommodation: small kitchen area with gas hob (no oven), toaster, fridge with small icebox; small bathroom with WC, bath/shower, basin, washing machine; sleeping platform with mattress, duvet, pillows. Please note the sleeping platfrom is only accessible by ladder.

Wi-fi and mobile signal.

Electricity is charged at 30p per unit.

Firewood is extra, charged by the basket.
